did what it said the rods would and could perform but once they were bent to make the muti turns they were not able to return to a straight rod which makes it difficult to use on short vents.

It worked. The hardest part was moving the dryer out of the way to get started, and repeatedly (4 times) emptying the Dyson vacuum I duct-taped to the Linteater cap. My dryer exhaust duct goes 4' horizontal out of dryer, then 8' vertical, then 12' horizontal to a roof vent. With base Linteater kit + extension rods it was no problem to clean end-to-end, even around the two 90degree bends. Dryer now dries a big load of towels in 1 cycle, like it used to before the duct was clogged with lint.

Just what I expected and needed to reach those few extra feet to the top of my duct work.

This extension kit is indespensible to me. Our dryer vent duct runs under the Master bedroom, and this extension kit allows me to reach all the way through to the outside. It ensures a thorough cleaning. They are identicle quality as the rod shipped with the brush. Then sections fit together tightly, and they are able to negotiation right-angle duct curves.

I bought a Linteater a few years ago, but was not able to reach the end of the vent line until I purchased this extension kit.
