It's hard to read a fold-out map when you're driving. But you don't need to worry about getting lost any more: The SkyNav Mobile Navigation System is a self-contained ready-to-go navigation unit. Unlike many GPS units, no PC downloads or CDs are required, since the SkyNav Mobile Navigation System has detailed street maps of the 48 contiguous states and Hawaii as well as major metropolitan areas of Canada on board its automotive-grade hard-disk drive. Just plug it into your cigarette lighter socket, and you'll receive on-screen and voice directions to wherever you want to go.

Navigating becomes easy when you rely on the SkyNav Mobile Navigation GPS. You can enter an address into the unit's keypad or even beam in an address from your PDA. You'll get turn-by-turn directions on the high-resolution color display that's easy to see, day or night. By using Intelligent Accelerated Satellite Acquisition Protocol Technology™ for faster acquisition and uninterrupted satellite signal reception in urban canyons and dense foliage, you'll receive clear, precise directions wherever you are—even when off-roading or in tunnels!
The SkyNav Mobile Navigation System has four different screens to get you where you're going. The map screen shows an interactive map, including position and direction of travel. The guide screen has arrows and voice commands to give precise, turn-by-turn directions. A planned route screen shows the complete list of all roads and directions needed to guide you to your destination, and the trip data screen keeps track of all of the important information for your trip.
The SkyNav Mobile Navigation System already contains 2 million points of interest, including hotels, restaurants, gas stations, and attractions. You can even search using business phone numbers to find your destination. Pre-program up to 10 destinations to take advantage of the unit's trip planner. Other features: compass heading, clock, backlit keys and automatic day/night mode. Choose English, Spanish or French for the voice directions.
