Sometimes it's inconvenient to stop to ask directions when you're on the go. And often, when you're completely lost, there's no one around to ask! But by keeping this hand-held GPS system in your car, you'll eliminate common navigation problems like unclear directions and out-of-date maps. The Hand-Held GPS Navigation System includes a 32MB SD memory card that lets you create up to 50 routes with up to 50 points of interest, including cities, addresses, or intersections, so you won't need to worry about erasing one set of directions to find others. The Hand-Held GPS Navigation System is already programmed with coordinates for hundreds of cities worldwide, as well as with U.S. highways. While the GPS receiver is easily plugged into your car's 12-volt power supply (cigarette lighter), it may also be brought along on camping, hiking or even kayaking trips, since its plastic case is waterproof; two AA batteries (sold separately) are required for use outside the car. Included with the Hand-Held GPS Navigation System is the Rand McNally StreetFinder and a PC interface cable, letting you exchange data and street-level maps with powerful computer mapping programs and download points of interest to use in navigation or as map references. Additional features include a compass, altimeter, and clock, as well as expandable memory.
