The Escali Glass Health Monitor Scale is an all-in-one device that provides weight, body fat, body water and muscle mass data. It is a precision, state-of-the-art measuring instrument that automatically displays user information via an LCD display screen. Using the "Instant-On Technology", all you have to do is step on the stainless steel panels with bare feet for it to start working. Using built-in memory, you can program up to four unique users. For accurate measurements, the scale will have each user setup their own profile based upon gender, athleticism, height, and age. It has a extremely thin design at only 2cm tall yet it can handle up to 400 lbs of weight. The black tempered glass platform accentuated with stainless steel foot placers and a backlit blue LED light, give this bathroom scale a modern look which will provide style and sophistication to any bathroom. This product requires the use of four AAA batteries, included. Warning! Do not use this product if you have a pacemaker or other internal electronic medical device.

How does the scale work?
This scale uses BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis) to measure the body fat, body water, and muscle. In this technique, a safe, low-level electrical signal is passed through the body. The scale measures the speed of the current which is affected by water, muscle, bone, and fat. Using this data, the scale estimates the percentage of body fat, body water, and muscle mass.
Using the Analysis
Hydration levels fluctuate throughout the day and are affected by exercise, eating and drinking. As a result, for maximum accuracy and repeatability, it is recommended that this function be used about the same time of day under the same conditions to establish a personal average. These readings are a close indication, and not an exact value. Please consult your doctor for more information.
