Since it's made of a glow-in-the-dark material, you can find the Dynamo Torch Emergency Flashlight easily when the lights go out. A convenient EL (electroluminescent) backlight makes accessing the radio easy. Listen to music to calm your nerves or access the NOAA weatherband to hear National Weather Service warnings, watches, forecasts, public alerts and other hazard information 24 hours a day. A built-in 90 dB siren can signal a NOAA alert, as well.
The Dynamo Torch Emergency Flashlight has a variety of features not found on ordinary flashlights. The digital clock offers two daily alarms, and the display also shows a calendar with day, month, and year. Plug earphones into the earphone jack to listen to the radio without disturbing other family members. The LED flashlight even offers a dry storage compartment for matches, earphones, or other necessary items. Additional features include a built-in compass.
