The AutoAlert attaches to your rear license plate frame without any drilling required, and it uses an infrared sensor to detect large objects in its path. If your car comes into range of an obstacle, the AutoAlert will emit an audible beep through the included speaker, beeping faster and at a higher pitch as you get closer to the danger.

Works With Any VehicleThe AutoAlert will attach to any standard license plate frame, whether the plate is mounted to your car's rear door, trunk lid, or bumper. It will work with autos, minivans, SUVs, trucks, even motor homes! The AutoAlert receives its power through your car's rear taillight assembly by splicing to the reverse bulb. Whether you're parallel parking, leaving your garage, or exiting a parking space at the market, AutoAlert will detect objects within a range of approximately 4 feet to help you avoid hitting bikes, posts, or shopping carts.
Safety NoteAutoAlert uses an infrared sensor to detect most large objects within a particular range and angle and is not designed to detect humans or animals. This safety assistance device does not replace your vehicle's safety equipment. Due to the limitations of all sensor devices, complete coverage protection is not possible. Additional performance limitations can be enhanced due to environmental conditions, vehicle type, mounting angle and location of AutoAlert.
