Excellent product, shipped quickly and arrived in perfect shape.

Many programming options. Instructions, which are easy to understand. Wall mouunting for the remote control and for the receiver. I needed to replace the cables with longer cables.

Unit works excellent. Would have given the unit 5 stars except programming is cumbersome and time consuming.

Exceedingly simple to install. Programming the remote was more difficult, by was easily programmed by reading the manual.

I didn't install this myself, so I can't comment on how easy it was. Programming the remote is pretty easy. This unit installed for about 3 weeks, but have only limited use since the weather has been warm. However, I have had an issue with the buttons on the remote not activating the ignitor the first time I push them. Going through the menu system a 2nd time has (so far) worked to fire up the fireplace. Only 3 stars because the jury is still out... I'd rate Smarthome service at 3.5 stars. I unsuccessfully attempted to order it online 2-3 times before I gave up and called the toll free number (and then crossed my fingers hoping I didn't get 3 units billed/shipped to me!). It worked, the order came in as I had hoped.
