Great product - ordering for our friends for Christmas presents

Great price, speedy delivery and they took the time to answer all my questions!

Bought this unit to replace my 20 year old remmote control that failed. Installation was quick, instructions were clear, and it works well. Normal operating range for my room is about 20'. I really liked the seperate on/off buttons. The old remote had only one button and if I had a malfunction with the remote, I was concerned about what was the last position I had left the remote in(On or off). With discrete buttons, that is not a problem.

The fireplace remote works excelent. Easy to install. I would recomment it to anyone who is looking for a simple on and off remote for a gas fireplace. Smarthome was quick and reliable. Shipped on time and received without delay. I would order again if I ever need something from them.

Well not exactly what I thought it was but, easy to install and works fine. Must leave pilot on all the time so burns fuel like a standard gas water heater. Would be better if it ignited pilot then main burner for better fuel economy

sometimes does not work accurately. misleading out of stock information by smart home keeps you on the hook. took almost a month to arrive because they kept moving out the in stock date.

Hooks up easily. Operates well. Simple to install and use.
