Have the fire going and the room warmed by the time you wake up in the mornings. This gas-fireplace control system, designed to be used with Robertshaw Hi/Lo valves, allows you to set programs so the fireplace will turn on and off automatically. Because your day-to-day schedule can vary, set a different program for each day of the week, with up to four programs within each day. Everything can be programmed from the convenient remote control. Its large, LCD screen and soft buttons make programming and controlling your fireplace hassle-free. Communicating with the receiver over radio frequency (RF), the remote doesn’t require any wires and allows you to move it around the room as you need. Signals can be sent to the receiver from the remote from up to 20 feet away.
On the remote, you can change the mode to turn the fire on, off, or put it on Thermo mode, which keeps the fire running based on the current room temperature. Set a timer of up to nine hours to keep the fire going for an extended period of time without the worry of forgetting to turn it off. Current time and room temperature can also be viewed. A flame icon lets you know exactly when the burner/valve is in operation. When the battery is ready to be replaced, the remote displays a battery icon so you can be sure the remote is always functioning at an optimum level. As an added safety feature, you can program a lockout on the remote so children won’t accidentally turn on the fire without your permission. The remote requires the use of two
AAA batteries, included. The receiver is powered by 24VAC, normally supplied by the fireplace's control system. The system will operate either millivolt systems or electronic spark ignition systems.
