Need to turn off the fire but don’t want to leave the cozy comfort of the couch? With this remote control system, the power to control and adjust your gas fireplace will always be at your fingertips. This convenient system offers a battery-powered receiver and a handheld touchscreen remote. Communicating with the receiver over radio frequency (RF), the remote doesn’t require any wires and allows you to move it around the room as you need. Signals can be sent to the receiver from the remote from up to 20 feet away.

Tap any place on the touchscreen to activate the remote and turn the backlight on for five seconds. The simple layout makes the remote easy-to-use. Change the mode to turn the fire on, off, or put it on Thermo mode, which keeps the fire running based on the current room temperature. Set a timer of up to nine hours to keep the fire going for an extended period of time without the worry of forgetting to turn it off. Current time and room temperature are also displayed on the remote. A flame icon lets you know exactly when the burner/valve is in operation. When the battery is ready to be replaced, the remote displays a battery icon so you can be sure the remote is always functioning at an optimum level. As an added safety feature, you can program a lockout on the remote so children won’t accidentally turn on the fire without your permission. The remote and receiver each require the use of four AAA batteries, sold separately.
