    As indicated in its name, the Can Cooler & Warmer won't just chill cans. Warm a can of soup or bring your beverage to room temperature using the same device. The Can Cooler & Warmer is easy to use. A simple three-position switch can be turned to cool, warm or off. A green indicator light illuminates when the device is in cooling mode; the red light shines when it is warming.

    The Can Cooler & Warmer will reach a heating temperature of about 160° F, and it will chill to 68° below the ambient temperature.

    There appears to be some sort of an error in the documentation with respect to the cold temperature performance. It would be unfair to rate this product until this issue is satisfactorily resolved. However, since you insist on a rating I have given it a poor. This should only be viewed as an interim rating until the above mentioned problem is addressed.

    An excellent little device. Its worked for several years and I was looking to purchase a second one and am disappointed its no longer manufactured!! Seriously well worth the money. Want to know how seriously good it works? It'll take a room temperature soda can and turn it ICE COLD in no time, I've never timed it but would guess under 30 minutes.... BTW, I've left it on over night once or twice & its been known to get so cold--icicles were in the soda in the next day..

    Almost nobody in Belgium knows the Can Cooler. I use the Can Cooler for 2 years now and I find it a great great device.

    Been using mine for about a week now. Have it hooked up to the 20 amp power supply for my ham radio in the family room. Draws a little under 3 amp at 13.9 volt. Works very well. Keeps pop cans and Costco water bottles very cold. As good as my fridge which is set to 35 degrees. Haven't tried the hot side yet. Will do that this winter. I would reccomend this unit.

    replaced a sharper image one.cools the same but dose not heat as well,maybe because the thermal cut out is not set right.keeps coffee luke warm.bummer.also a little bigger.great idea.use it with the sharper image 110 volt converter as this unit dose not come with one.don't look for any service help.. ;

    This is my second unit. The first from Sharper Imagehad a different designed push button switches which after abotu 10 years started to malfunction. The Sharper Image unit had both an AC adapter and card adapeter, but I use mine in the office to chill soda so only use the AC adapter. When the original started to malfuntion, I found this unit and to my joy, the old AC adaapter fits perfectly and works fine. I just with this unto came with an AC adapter since it's so convenient to use in the office to chill and keep a can of soda cold all day. The unit has paid for itself many times over as I bring in cans purchase in bulk at home for about 25 cents a can -- really saves over the vending machines. On and this thing does get cold -- leave it on all night and the next day, you'll find a film of ice inside. This if a must have and make a terriffic gift.

    I purchased one of these units from old-fashioned-values.com. I find that I have problems getting the cans to go into the unit. I have had to remove the pull tab off of the can so I can remove the can from the unit. This unit functions very well with heat and cool. I am not happy with the fact that the cans don''''''''''''''''t fit in easily most of the time. I was told by the company that I bought mine from that they cannot control the size of the cans that the companys produce. This unit only needs to have a slightly larger opening.

    As an insulin dependant diabetic, I was looking for something to keep my insulin cool during a cross country trip. It was important that I could use in a truck or a motel room. This device worked well. The only problem I had was that the power connector would vibrate out of the lighter jack and loose power.
