I purchased this Heated towel rack as a gift. During a challenging cold spell in Maryland, i was SO glad that we had warm and dry towels to wrap up in! The towels we use are oversized and thick. This towel rack did a lovely job of warming two such towels, and having them both dry before the next evening! I have found that if i put a small towel on top of the highest towel on the rack, i can keep the heat in the thick towel more evenly, and also have a smaller towel to dry my hair with. In addition, i drape the top towel over the rails and the sides of the rack as the sides are quite hot and can burn hands if touched! It is stable on the floor, something which our old rack was not. The on-off switch is helpful, another feature our old rack did not have. All in all, a good product for us
