Unlike oil-filled or hydronic towel warmers on the market, the Plug-In Heated Towel Rack is heated by an electric element that runs the length of the rack, so it runs continuously and safely, providing you with warm towels every time. This design is safer, with no risk of leaking or over-pressure. It also results in faster heating times, since there's no need to wait for the liquids to circulate.
The heated towel rack uses less power than an average light bulb and won't scorch your towels. You can leave the towel warmer operating 24 hours a day, or you can have it turn on at pre-set times with an X10 timer or intelligent controller. For this plug-in towel warmer, you'll need an ApplianceLinc Appliance Module for automated use; be sure to set it to turn on enough in advance to warm your towels fully before use.
