Improv Electronics continues the Green movement with the Boogie Board JOT 8.5 LCD eWriter designed to lower our dependence on paper. Using just one of these LCD eWriter tablets can save as much as 50,000 sheets of paper over the course of the devices battery lifetime because it helps to cut out the need for sticky notes, memo pads, scrap paper, etc. Think about all the grocery and to-do lists thrown in the trash or notes jotted down on a full sheet of paper just to be thrown away shortly afterwards. With the Boogie Board JOT keep a running grocery list and after going to the store simply erase it from the board with the push of a button for a fresh screen. Integrated rear magnets conveniently allow the JOT to be placed in frequented areas of the home such as the door of the refrigerator. It also features an erase-lock switch that when on will prevent accidental erasing of the LCD screen which is ideal when the JOT is being used for a running list or when leaving a note. The erase-lock switch also helps preserve the JOT's long battery life as the device only uses power when called upon to erase its reflex LCD screen. A stand slot in the top left corner of the eWriter is designed to perfectly fit the included stylus allowing it to act as a kickstand for the JOT as an alternative way to display the screen. The Boogie Board JOT is ultra-light and thin with a non-slip back making it very easy to bring with you on the go to school, shopping, work and much more. An included pen-like stylus makes writing or drawing as easy as it would be on a piece of paper. Can't find the stylus or don't feel like using one? No problem. The Boogie Board JOT eWriter can even be drawn or written on with a finger.
