Press the pocket clip and place the sensor on or near wires or devices. If AC voltage is present, the light will glow and the speaker will chirp continuously, providing both audible and visual assurance.
Test outlets, system panels, or fuse boxes. The Voltage Detector even has a built-in "safe test" feature to assure that batteries are functioning properly. The Circuit Alert™ Voltage Detector runs on two button cell batteries, included.
