Designed to test for shorts, opens, miswires, reversals, even split pairs, this LANRoverPRO testing/analyzing kit provides you with the proper tools for troubleshooting existing Cat. 5 cable networks — or installing new ones.
Our top-of-the-line Cat. 5 tester/analyzer adds a two-line, 16-character LCD screen that identifies cable length and defines multiple faults clearly, without the need for interpretation. It offers one-ended testing with pre-test for fast, clear wiremapping. The LANRoverPRO includes such features as a tone-generator mode for use with tone tracers and a battery low indicator. If you don't need all of these additional features, choose the LANRover (#9038). Requires one 9V battery (sold separately) and has an integrated low-battery indicator.
