The licensed and patented Evolution 14-Watt CF Full-Spectrum Bulb simulates the full-spectrum natural outdoor sunlight to provide a healthier indoor environment while also saving energy. The full-spectrum bulb also lasts about 10 times longer than standard incandescent bulbs.

The Evolution 14-Watt CF Full-Spectrum Bulb is a medium screw-base lamp designed to replace incandescent lights in table lamps, recessed down lights, porcelain keyless fixtures, and anywhere else you need energy saving possibilities of a fluorescent lamp.

Natural light from the sun and sky has a balanced spectrum, rendering colors perfectly. Most artificial bulbs emit light rays in a narrow scope of the visual spectrum. This full-spectrum bulb helps people see better, feel better and creates a healthy indoor environment.

The 14-Watt CF Full-Spectrum Bulb equals the light output of a standard 60-watt incandescent lamp. Full-spectrum bulbs are also available in 11-watt, 20-watt, and 25-watt sizes (the equivalent of 40-, 75-, and 100-watt incandescent lamps, respectively).

I bought this bulb as a back up in case the 20w bulb that I also bought was too bright. But I found the 20w perfect for what I wanted so I am saving this one to use in the summer when there is naturally more natural light, but it is still a good product.

how can people get all excited about a bulb which is only half as bright as a standard bulb? half as many lumens -read the boxes huge kudos tho for the shape!
