Essential Info

Save money and reduce maintenance with your R-30 sized recessed lighting, without losing the flexibility of your existing dimmable circuits. This fluorescent dimmable flood light is as bright as a 50 watt incandescent flood light, but uses only 15 watts. It also includes special circuitry that allows it to work with standard household dimmers, which is a major limitation of conventional compact fluorescent bulbs. Produces 500 lumens at full brightness.

Get all the light you're accustomed to, yet only using one third of the energy! Conserving has never been easier than with these fluorescent light bulbs that are three times as efficient as standard, incandescent bulbs. Still, they emit a soft glow similar to that of incandescent lights, so your home won't have that harsh, washed-out look. Average life span for these bulbs is 8,000 hours — more than five times standard 1,500-hour incandescent bulbs.

Won't Interfere With Your Home Automation System
These are also among the few fluorescent light bulbs on the market that won't cause problems with your X10 home automation system. The Smarthome technical staff has searched far and wide, high and low, and everywhere else in between for fluorescent bulbs that are X10-compatible, and these are among the very few that won't inject any noise in or near the critical X10 zero crossing point. For X10 operation, we recommend using non-dimming appliance modules, like the ApplianceLinc, although lamp modules will work if they are not dimmed.

We also offer a wide variety of fluorescent bulb styles: the Bulb-Shaped Fluorescent Bulb, the Mini Bulb-Shaped Fluorescent Bulb, the Mini-Spiral Fluorescent Bulb, the Flood Light Fluorescent Bulb, the Flood Light Dimmable Fluorescent Bulb, and the Dimmable Spiral Fluorescent Bulb.

finally found them. I have a ton of the single watt flourescent bulbs in my house, love them. They help save some money every month.

Outstanding three way light bulb. Provides the light I need. Waiting now on the other half of my order placed at the same time.

The 3-way bulb works very nicely and exactly like a filament-based bulb. I found that it occasionally flickered when on the low setting and plugged into an outlet controlled by a KeypadLinc with Dimmer. If I turned the lamp to the high setting, it no longer flickered. This is a common problem with all CL bulbs, but it was nice to find that there was a setting where it didn't produce the flicker. In the end, I didn't want it controlled by KeypadLinc so I just plugged it into the un-controlled outlet.
