Will not turn on with X-10 . . will turn off.

these items do not work at all with X 10 products. i have two lamps both plugged into the same X10 modual and when turned on only one will light and the dimming is staggered not easing to the dim position...very unhappy and have not used them and they sit in my drawer...this product took forever to be deliver and now i know why..the product stinks!

I am not sure that the bulbs are at fault or if it is the dimmer. But they do not dim very much, and sometimes one or two of them do not come on when turned on (4 light fixture).

only dim to a point not a true dimmable bulb only dimms about half brightness not worth advertiseing as dimmable

At present, trying to dim these CFL's is like trying to slow down an AC shaded pole motor by lowering the voltage. At first there may be some slowing then the motor will just stop. There may also be significant heating. In my opinion, the perfect X10 compatible bulb may have to contain the X10 receiver and special control circuitry within the bulb base itself. It may be the only way to place control circuitry between the "ballast" and the actual lamp. Of course the cost of this combo could be $30 or more. The only alternative right now is to use CFL's in applications that do not require dimming and keep incandescents for the rest.

Seems to work very well so far .. No flicker, and no noise. Good natural light color.

The unit generates considerable electrical noise that jams my telephone while it is in the dimmed mode. It doesn't, stangely, interfear with the X-10 communication. I probably will continue using it, remembering to turn off before using the phone.

I haven't used them yet, but they appear to be too big fit in some of my lamps or lights fixtures.

Works great...using it with X-10. Perfect for family room where dimming is a must.
