Compact Flourecent Light bulbs are good at saving energy, but they still have several issues consumers should be aware of. 1 They cause headaches for a small percentage of people 2 They cause eye strain if they are the sole source of light in the room. personal experience 3 After several months of use they fail to light immediately when turned on and fail to light the entire spiral completely sometimes. personal experience

These bulbs are amazing!! my son does his homework at the dining room table, the overhead light was fitted with 3-60watt bulbs. Upon recieving the fluorescents (only ordered 2)I installed them in the light fixture, couldn't believe 2 bulbs could put out enough light for reading. They are very bright, the 2 fluorescents equal 150 watts of light or more? & only consume 36 watts of energy, sure beats the 180 watts we used to consume. Worth every penny.
