Essential Info

    Similar to a light that used to have an incandescent bulb, it's really good for directed, low-power and low-intensity lighting of dark corners. It's just a plug-in, and if it is in a bright area it will turn off automatically.

    Suitably bright for a nightlight. Cool LED color makes it look like you are in a swimming pool. 360-degree maneuverability is a distinct alternative to the all-directions effect of most nightlights.

    I have two of these is the upstairs hallway. The hallway is 16 by 8 and these two lights are more than bright enough to light it up at night. The cool part about them is that they turn on and off by themselves when there is enough light. I do plan on adding two more for the downstairs walkway.

    These are great. I ordered (2) of them, plus the multi-colored nightlight. When it turned out that the multi-colored one was way too dim to act as a nightlight, Smarthome - rather than swap the multi-colored one for the directional one like I suggested - simply sent me a 3rd directional one at no charge.     These were direct replacements for an identical GE product using 4w neon(?) bulbs. The LED units produce less heat and almost as much light with greater efficiency. Also, the light sensor on the LED unit appears to be more sensitive than the GE unit, as it shuts off more often when it isn't needed.
