This tool is designed for the do-it-yourselfer, or someone installing or maintaining a small office or home office (SoHo). Test RJ45 patch cords and installed cable runs to identify good connections, opens, shorts or cross-connections. The SoHo Cable-Check™ identifies all of these conditions as well as data and telephone connection schemes. Using main and remote units, the SoHo Cable-Check's coax testing function tests continuity of patch cords and installed cables and identifies good connections, opens, or shorts.
