The Platinum Tools 90121 Termination Kit provides all of the basic tools required for data communications, telephone and coaxial structured wiring installations. It features the patented EZ-RJ45 Crimp Tool and connectors for the simplest, fastest and highest performing installation of Category 5/5e data networks. The kit also includes the basic tools for CATV installations. This tool kit is perfect for complete residential structured wiring installations.
The kit includes a 13000 Punchdown tool with 13002 110 style blade, 100004 EZ-RJ45 Crimp Tool, 11020 F Connector Assembly/Removal Tool, 10550 Cable Cutter, 15015 Cat 5 Cable Jacket Stripper, 15030 Universal Coaxial Cable Stripper, carrying case, and a set of ten EZ-RJ45 connectors. The 13000 Punchdown tool simultaneously seats and trims wire in 110 and 66 style cross connects. It is spring loaded for fast, low effort wire seating and termination with a bayonet style blade retention mechanism. The 100004 EZ-RJ45 Crimp Tool is designed to quickly crimp and cut the wires of EZ-RJ45 connectors in one easy simple operation. The ratcheted straight action crimping motion ensures a uniform crimp every cycle, and it features precision cast crimping dies for superior accuracy. The 11020 F Connector Assembly/Removal Tool features a 7/16-Inch hex socket at one end and 3/8-32 thread at the other end. The hex socket slides over cable and rear of the connector for easy mating and un-mating of hard to grasp F connectors, and the threaded end provides a stable surface during cable insertion, eliminating the danger of stab wounds from the center conductor. The 10550 Cable Cutter is a must for any tool belt when cutting larger diameter cables. It has a built-in return spring and locking latch for easy storage.
