Essential Info
Extracting digital audio from an HDMI source has never been easier with KanexPro's HAECOAX Audio De-Embedder. This tiny black box provides the hardware necessary to extract HDMI audio and output it to a stereo or 5.1 surround sound format. This device supports full 3D and CEC pass-through as well as HDMI 1.3 Deep Color. The HAECOAX can support HD resolutions up to 1080P at 60Hz and up to 1920x1200 when used with a computer as an input source while also supporting full DTS Digital Surround and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio technologies. Onboard outputs consist of HDMI, Digital Optical and COAX output as well as a stereo output. The convenient, built-in audio selector button toggles between 2 Channel and 5.1 Channel modes. This simple and effective device is perfect for applications for when a digital source is being used and the audio needs to be extraction.
