The Kanex iAdapt VGA converts a Mini DisplayPort signal into a VGA signal so you can connect your device into a VGA enabled display. VGA is a widely used video connector used in many displays and hardware and the iAdapt VGA will allow your Mac to use the vast array of devices that utilize VGA. All of the new MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air have a built-in Mini DisplayPort that allows user's to connect an external monitor, projector or HDTV using an adapter, such as the iDAPT VGA adapter. You can use an external display as your main workspace, as a mirror of your workspace, or to extend your workspace. Applications for the iDAPT VGA Mini DisplayPort to VGA include: digital entertainment, HDTV, conference room presentation, school and corporate training environments, and much more. The VGA connector for this device is female and typically requires a male-to-male VGA cable conenction to your video destination; VGA cable sold separately.
