With the Sonos digital music system, you can wirelessly stream digital music and Internet radio all over your house, in up to 32 rooms! Using an on-screen interface or the handheld wireless Sonos® Controller (sold separately), the Sonos system provides plug-and-play access to millions of songs — from music services to Internet radio to your personal digital music collection. Turn up to 32 rooms in your home into digital music zones by connecting Sonos ZonePlayer 80s to your favorite amplified audio devices. To connect directly to speakers, use the amplified Sonos ZonePlayer 100. Mix and match to create a multi-room digital music system that delivers superior audio all through the house — in up to 32 rooms. The ZonePlayer 80 lets you play all your favorite digital music all over your house, on all your favorite audio equipment — your home theater receiver, stereo system, powered speakers, and more. Just connect a Sonos® ZonePlayer 80 to any amplified audio device in any room, and that device is instantly and seamlessly part of a wireless, multi-room digital music system. The Sonos system uses SonosNet™, a secure AES encrypted, peer-to-peer wireless mesh network that streams music wirelessly to other ZonePlayers, avoiding sources of wireless interference while ensuring synchronous music playback.

Play Music From A Variety of Sources

If you have a hard drive filled with digital music or a CD collection just begging to be digitized, Sonos liberates all your music so you can enjoy it all over your house. Don't have any digital music? Not to worry. Sonos makes it simple to get millions of songs all over your house by subscribing to a music service. Sonos also comes loaded with 300+ Internet radio stations, and it's easy to add more.

Connect an External Device

Have a favorite CD that isn't ripped? Want to listen to the music on your friend's MP3 player? Thanks to built-in analog line-in jacks, you can simply connect any external device with a line-out jack to any ZonePlayer to play its audio in every room.

Wireless, Handheld Control

Control all your music in all your rooms from the palm of your hand with a 3.5" full-color LCD screen and scroll wheel. With the Sonos® Controller you can instantly access your entire music collection, Internet radio and music services, from the comfort of your living room couch or dining room chair. No more running to your PC to turn on, change or turn off your music. No need for pointing or line of sight. Use one controller for your entire house or several for added convenience.

Additional Features

The Sonos ZonePlayer 80 has two Ethernet ports, which can be used to connect other devices to your home network. Thanks to a built-in alarm clock, you can wake up to your favorite music or Internet radio station or fall asleep to soothing music using the sleep timer. You can even use the Sonos ZonePlayer 80's scheduler to play music for a set duration — great for that 30-minute workout. Additional features include automatic library indexing, which lets you schedule your library to update automatically on a daily basis.
