This vented shelf option works with Fatrak rack mount systems to maintain proper circulation, keeping your A/V equipment cool. It is especially important to use vented shelves and/or a fan system if the rack is being installed in a confined area such as an entertainment cabinet, centralized equipment cabinet or closet. This product should be added at the time of purchase of a Fatrak rack mount system; the rack will be shipped with as many vented shelves as are purchased (instead of the standard shelves).
