Keeping A/V components in an equipment rack may be convenient, but maintaining a constant, cool temperature inside the rack is imperative to extend the life of your components. By installing the Cool Stack I Exhaust fan at the top of your rack, you'll be able to pull heated air away from the delicate interior of your expensive components. The Cool Stack I Exhaust is triggered by excessive heat in the rack, so you won't need to keep it running all the time.

The Cool Stack I Exhaust mounts in your equipment rack, either at the very top or above the hottest component. Install the included 90-degree thermal switch so that it can sense the hottest air in the rack. The unit can be controlled by either the thermal switch or by a 12V DC trigger signal (trigger sold separately), both of which connect via the 1/8" (3.5mm) jack on the rear panel of the fan.
When triggered, four fans on the underside of the Cool Stack turn slowly, making virtually no noise as they exhaust heated air through its many front vents. The LED on the front panel will illuminate when the fan is active.
