Install the Ultra-Quiet 4-Fan Panel w/LCD in the top two spaces of your equipment rack. Its temperature probe is at the base of a 9-foot cord, so it can be placed in the hottest area of the rack for accurate reporting. The fan panel features a unique on-board processor that controls fan speed in direct proportion to the temperature of the equipment sharing its rack, resulting in quiet, reliable installations that extend fan life, reduce dust, and cut down on maintenance.
The LCD screen on the smoked lens front display of the Ultra-Quiet 4-Fan Panel features tasteful, subdued temperature and alerts for system status at a glance. Fans activate automatically at 80° F, operating at speeds proportional to the temperature inside the enclosure. However, if the temperature in the rack rises above a user-definable set point (between 95° F and 115° F), in addition to the LCD screen's local alert, the Ultra-Quiet 4-Fan Panel activates its normally open dry contact closure for use with an external monitoring system (sold separately).
