This specialty cable is used for interfacing a telephone system Key System Unit (KSU) with panels equipped with the KSU/POTS telephone hub. One end of this cable has an Amphenol/Telco connector while the other end has 12 RJ connectors. The 8681HKW12 is for 12 extensions that connect to an analog or two-pair KSU; the 8681HKW12 cable is for eight extensions that connect to a three-pair KSU.
