The second time they got the order right - the first time the wrong product was shipped. They did correct it promptly though.

The extension makes the enclosure easier to include the cover. Wish it would have had the bolts to put together and to mount cover.

Definitely a must have if you plan to fix the Leviton surge protected power outlet to the bottom of the enclosure. Without this, it will be difficult for components' power adapters to easily fit into the outlet slots. Also, helps provide ventilation if you have a few components within the enclosure.

Unfortunately, the extender brackets are not really "extenders", the would more accurayely be described as a frame to allow an additional depth, while also making the height and width larger. I had a precut opening in the drywall to exactly fit the 28 inch panels with no allowance for the additional height and width. As a result, i received a return authorization and am sending the "extender" brackets back. Although I was disapointed with the product (not your fault), the service was excellent.
