If you're using category 6 cable for higher bandwidth communication, be sure to terminate cable runs with high-quality QuickPort RJ-45 connectors designed to exceed cat. 6 standards. This Leviton Cat. 6 Connector has been tested out to 350 MHz, providing more than 13.5 dB of bandwidth over proposed specifications of 250MHz. By using this color-coded connector with Cat. 6-rated panels and cables, your project will be prepared to handle data transfer applications at speeds beyond 1000Base-T.

Connector DetailsThis 8-conductor connector is equipped with gold-plated connectors and uses 110-style punch-down terminals for use with a punch-down tool (sold separately). The connector snaps into any Leviton QuickPort plate, jack, box or wiring panel.
Variety of Colors AvailableThe Cat. 6 Connector is also available in ivory, blue, purple, red, white, and yellow.
