If you already have multiple satellite dishes connected to your home, you don't need to purchase more in order to enjoy quality satellite entertainment in additional rooms. Ideal for today's larger households or even for growing small businesses, Leviton's 5x8 Multi-Switch Module combines signals from multiple satellite dishes and distributes digital programming to up to eight independent satellite television receivers throughout your home. The Multi-Switch Module works with standard receivers and is compatible with all standard definition DIRECTV® systems. It features a modular design with mounting brackets that fit easily into Leviton's Structured Media Centers (sold separately). Note: Due to the changes in satellite technology, this multi-switch no longer is capable of HDTV distribution from satellite frequencies.

Today's larger households have more rooms and usually have a combination of more than four satellite receivers or utilize TiVo® in multiple locations. The Leviton 5x8 Multi-Switch Module allows a residential coaxial video distribution system to grow as needed to accommodate upgraded satellite services. This multi-switch can take up to four LNB (Low Noise Block) signals and combine them with one digital cable TV signal for easy distribution over a single coax cable to up to eight individual rooms or locations.
The Leviton 5x8 Multi-Switch Module is equipped with a built-in low-noise amplifier and a 24 VDC power supply. The digital satellite inputs (two for each LNB on the dish) can select 13/18 VDC or 22 kHz tone signals provided by receivers. Input frequency range is 54 to 806 MHz terrestrial and 950 to 2250 MHz satellite, with an output frequency of 54 to 2250 MHz. All inputs and outputs are 75-Ohm F-type connectors. The Multi-Switch Module has a bracket made of white, powder-coated steel.
