    Pass-through IPSEC and ISAKMP protocols allow attached LAN users to implement secure Virtual Private Network (VPN) communication applications on their PCs. Make connections by running cable from the desired locations to a Category 5e Voice and Data Module (sold separately). From there, Category 5 or 5e patch cord can be used to connect the gateway to the Category 5e module. Cables sold separately.

    An expensive way to get a switch. Ended up with an 8-port gigabit switch for half the price... and it even has a way of mounting into the Leviton Structured Media Panel using pre-existing mounting holes. Not as pretty, but who cares... I'll never look at it once the media panel cover goes on.

    Great product. Only purchased because I wanted to make everything uniform and work with the whole Leviton setup with the house I purchased. I did make the mistake of not buying the ethernet gateway. You can connect all of your computers via a network but they won't get Internet connection unless you buy the router/ethernet gateway. I have had this installed for a few months now and have had no problems what-so-ever.
