Essential Info

If you use the 28-Inch Leviton Enclosure to manage your fax, Internet, multi-line telephones, security camera, coaxial cable and/or satellite video distribution, you're already aware if its many features and uses. Protect the modules and panels inside with the 28-Inch Hinged Cover, designed specifically for the 28-Inch Leviton Enclosure. This steel enclosure cover is ideal for applications where you may need to get into the enclosure to perform updating of the cables or when a device (Hub, router, phone system) needs resetting.

The 28-Inch Hinged Cover is made of 18-gauge powder-coated steel with a 3/4-inch overlap to hide irregular drywall cuts. Positive stops on the housing sidewalls prevent the enclosure from falling through studs during installation. Mounting guides on the 28-Inch Hinged Cover align screw-holes and reduce the chances of dropping during attachment. Mounting screws are included with the cover, which also has a knockout for an optional key lock.

A flush-mount cover for the 28-Inch Leviton Enclosure is also available and is sold separately. You can also purchase the enclosure with a flush-mount cover as a kit.

Serves its purpose. Easy to use and helps me easily access the components as needed. No instructions provided on how to use with the extender bracket, but is fairly intuitive. Works directly on the enclosure as well as with the extender bracket attached in front the enclosure.

I recieved the cover in perfect condidtion. It came speedy fast. When I initially tried to mount the cover, I noticed that the holes were kind of stripped from the previous cover. So instead of using the included screws I went for a #10 nut bolt combo which really beefed up the attachment. cover opens and shuts nicely and I am happy I converted to it.
