The 42-Inch Flush-Mount Cover is made of 18-gauge powder-coated steel with a 3/4-inch overlap to hide irregular drywall cuts. Positive stops on the housing sidewalls prevent the enclosure from falling through studs during installation. Mounting guides on the 42-Inch Flush-Mount Cover align screw-holes and reduce the chances of dropping during attachment. Mounting screws are included with the cover.
A hinged cover for the 42-Inch Leviton Enclosure is also available and is sold separately.
