Ideal for nurseries, children's bedrooms, or any room in the home where children will be, the Leviton Childproof Wall Plate replaces any dual-receptacle cover to fit over a standard duplex grounding household outlet. Does not fit decora-style outlets.

Mount this babyproof wall plate and secure it with the provided screw. Remove and discard the spacer clip. The wall plate will close fully, with both halves locking into place. To operate, gently pull the wall plate corners toward you, sliding the wall plate cover vertically to open it. The wall plate will snap back instantly when the plug is removed to provide immediate protection against dangerous electrical currents.
Note: These covers do not fit decora style electrical outlets.
The Leviton Childproof Wall Plate is also available in ivory.
