Snap-in connectors are designed to work with Keystone, QuickPort and Modular style wall plates. These wall plates typically have from one to six inputs (ports) for snap-in connectors. Installing a snap-in wall plate allows you make wiring connections and runs inside your wall. You can use various snap-in connectors to customize your snap-in wall plate with telephones, networking, audio/video (AV) components, speakers and other cable connections. Having a central connection point on the wall is a great way to add a professional finish to your installation and is a simple way to manage your in-wall wiring setup that provides quicker and easier terminations.
Leviton's QuickPort Compression RCA Connector is used in home and office high-end applications such as HDTV, cameras, component video, CATV and satellite signal delivery. It features a radial compression design, providing a secure termination on Series 6 Quad Shield Cable. The connector is compatible with Leviton's QuickPort product line and provides a timesaving solution by directly terminating to wallplate connectors. Eliminating the need for an inside-wall connection, the QuickPort Compression Connector is ideal for easy installations and achieving consistent terminations that hold true. The QuickPort Compression RCA Connector's radial-compression design provides 360° electrical continuity, ensuring a more secure termination over traditional hex crimp designs.
The QuickPort Yellow RCA Compression Connector is designed for use with RG6 Quad cable. Its connector body is made of brass with a nickel finish. The body is white, with a yellow insert.
