If you purchase speaker wire in 500- or 1000-foot spools for easy installation purposes, you'll need connectors for each termination spot. These gold-plated banana connectors have 4 spring-loaded contact surfaces. Cables up to 12-gauge thick can be quickly attached to these connectors by inserting into the holes on the side and then clamping them tight with the twist knob at the back.
