The Monster® Home Theater Lighting 300 Remote will even set up all of the devices involved in your movie watching or music listening with a single button press. Just press one of the Activity buttons, and this universal remote control automatically sets up your entire entertainment system — and even presses Play. The 2.3-inch color LCD screen provides for easy control, and the remote is even rechargeable, so you won't need to be replacing batteries constantly. Just set the universal remote control in the included tabletop charging station, and the lithium battery will begin to charge.

The Monster Home Theater Lighting 300 Remote comes with a wireless RF-to-IR bridge and IR blaster that mounts in your A/V cabinet or on a wall near your components. Use your remote as you normally would, and signals will transfer to the IR blaster, which will then deliver your commands to your components via four dual-head Monster Control Link IR Extenders, which are included to control up to eight devices. Additional IR emitters are sold separately.

The universal remote control's color LCD is both functional and stylish, with user-customizable backgrounds, button icons and text. There is ample space for up to eight custom activities or controls, and the on-screen battery level indicator even shows you the status of its charge. The Monster Home Theater Lighting 300 Remote supports thousands of brands and products, so with a single remote, you'll be able to control 15 devices, including televisions, plasmas, projectors, DVRs, PVRs, laserdisc players, satellites, cable boxes, amplifiers, receivers, VCRs, DVD players, and even stereo systems!

Monster is known for high-quality sound, and the Monster Home Theater Lighting 300 Remote reflects this with a dedicated surround mode button, which allows convenient access to surround sound and DSP modes while listening. A dedicated picture button provides direct access to important picture controls like PIP and aspect ratio: Choose a 16:9 ratio for movies and HDTV, or a standard 4:3 ratio for basic television programming.

The Monster Home Theater Lighting 300 Remote is simple to set up: Connect your remote to your computer via the included USB cable. Enter your equipment model numbers and answer questions about how you watch TV or listen to music. The setup wizard walks you through the process, step by step.

Featuring a comfort grip shape and a centered directional pad, this universal remote control fits easily in your hand and naturally guides you to the most frequently used controls. Even the buttons are sculpted to help you locate them by feel, not sight. If you don't maintain your components in a cabinet and don't need the RF capabilities, try the Monster® Home Theater Controller 100, which communicates using IR signals only.

Z-Wave-Ready

Monster's flagship system controller is a multi-room unit that works through walls, ceilings and floors, thanks to its built-in RF wireless technology. This feature gives consumers whole-house control, even for multi-zone systems. Additionally, the Monster® Home Theater Lighting 300 Remote is a powerful lighting controller. Using Monster's IlluminEssence plug-in light dimmer, wall dimmer switch or wall on/off switch, the remote can create customized lighting "scenes" that are integrated with home theater equipment to accompany chosen Activities, such as "Romantic Dinner," with dimmed lights and soft music! The AV100 shares the same main functionalities of its more powerful sibling, without the RF and lighting capabilities. It features extra-wide IR broadcast to ensure control, and offers simple, one-touch access to customized Activities and preferences, working with virtually all equipment that is IR-controlled.
