Terminate F, RCA and BNC fittings with this Universal Compression Tool that also features a built-in cable cutter. This compression tool has integrated interchangeable dies and provides watertight termination of series 59-6 coaxial cables with Steren PermaSeal, T&B Snap-N-Seal, Gilbert, Antec-DigiCon, PCT, PPC and other compression fittings. In addition to a smooth, one-cycle full ratchet mechanism and an emergency ratchet release lever, this black-oxide-plated tool offers hardened steel construction as well as comfortable, orange grip handles for reduced hand fatigue.

    takes a while to get the spacing just right. I crushed a couple and a couple others didn't crimp good enough. There are no directions with it.

    Appears to work with all brands of RG6 connectors. There is a diagram on one of the connectors item description which shows how to strip the cable correctly. Steren will also provide.

    This is a great tool for coax connectors. Beats any tool available from your local home improvement stores. Spend the extra money for a good tool, it saves so much installation time and doesn't require as much physical effort to compress the connectors.

    This tool worked exactly as expected. It is well built and comes with the necessary dies for crimping F-type, RCA, and BNC fittings. It is fully adjustable, which is handy when using a wide variety of fittings and cable types. I had to make some custom cables with an RCA male at one end and a quickport RCA female at the other. Worked like a charm and for a few bucks in materials I got custom installed cables that outperformed very expensive name brand cables. This tool basically paid for itself with one cable. I made three.

    I agree with those who have said that better instructions would be helpful, but this tool does work very well. I'm female, not very strong, and inexperienced when it comes to coax, but I've put on about 20 connectors without too much trouble using this tool.

    This tool works great. As some of the other reviewers had mentioned, I had to sacrifice a few connectors until I figured it out, but this was a result of my not pushing the connector far enough onto the RG6 Quad cable and NOT a function of the tool. The tool works great, is very solid and well built, cuts the coax very clean, and will pay for itself with just a few minor projects. Although there are no actual instructions, the package diagram helps make its use rather intuitive. A must for anyone who has interest in working on their own A/V wiring.
