Essential Info
Running new wiring to remote locations in your home doesn't need to involve expensive drywall or plaster installations. You don't even need to drill into your wall or pull wire through your walls or attic. For use with high-wattage audio, alarms, or low-voltage lighting, the 14-Gauge, 2-Conductor Tapewire will stick to any smooth, clean, non-porous surface, with its own adhesive backing. All you need to do is peel off the liner and stick it down, spackle and paint for an excellent professional-looking alternative solution.

More Info
|
Permanent, durable and long lasting, the 14-Gauge, 2-Conductor Tapewire is surface mountable and virtually invisible after installation. Adhesive Tapewire can be used simply attached to a surface and left uncovered, or it can be easily covered with paint, wallpaper, or floor coverings. All you need are scissors and a screwdriver and you're ready to peel and stick!
Cut and strip the ends of the wires that will connect to the Tapewire and insert the stripped ends into a Terminal Block, which can be attached to your wall or floor with a screw. Two Terminal Blocks are included with the Tapewire; additional Terminal Blocks are sold separately. Peel back the peel-off liner to expose the adhesive. Position the tape in the desired location and press to secure, continuing this process along the entire installation surface. To make a turn with the tape wire, simply fold wire back and then over itself.
Flat wire can be attached to many different types of speakers simply by bending the flat copper conductors round. Standard speaker pins can be crimped on. Ends can also be soldered together with a regular soldering iron. The 14-Gauge, 2-Conductor Tapewire uses 99.9% pure copper with a high malleable rating for excellent flexibility for turns, and a very aggressive adhesive. The 14-Gauge, 2-Conductor Tapewire is also available in clear. 2-conductor, 18-gauge and 4-conductor, 18-gauge Tapewire is also available. You can even use Tapewire to send HDTV signals from room to room: Using 75 Ohm HDTV Coax Tapewire, you can send precision HDTV (3GHz) video cable for satellite and cable TV from a single source to a remote room.
