If you've been avoiding installing in-ceiling speakers because you want to be able to direct the sound toward a specific listening area, you'll appreciate the QPD motorized speaker. Mounted flush in the ceiling, this motorized 8" Square in-ceiling speaker automatically drops down from the ceiling when power is applied to the connected amplifier or receiver (with 12V output), and retract when the power is turned off. The speaker features multi-angle dispersion, allowing you to adjust the drop-down angle to 25°, 30°, 40° or 50°, so you can deliver audio to the sweet spot of your listening and viewing area. The speaker connects to any amplifier or receiver via speaker wire and cat. 5 cable, each sold separately.
