Essential Info
Create a local area network in your home by taking advantage of your structured wiring distribution panel. The Data/Patch Module mounts securely in your panel and connects PCs, servers, hubs, bridges, other switches and routers. Its double-decker mounting plate allows for flexible installation in a compact space. Punch down up to 8 cat. 5 data lines on the 110 punchdown connectors on the two 8x8 network hubs, which provide easy connection to wall plates in different rooms in your home. The Data/Patch Module's space-saving design allows wires to run along the length of the panel for better wire management.

Switch DetailsThe 8-port switch features eight 10/100 Mbps auto-negotiating switch ports. It can also act as a bridge between 10Mbps and 100Mbps network segments. This switch supports 10Mbps and 100Mbps dedicated bandwidth on each port. The switch is built with plug & play, auto-negotiation on all ports, store-and-forward transmission scheme, IEEE802.3x flow control and back pressure opration for easy installation and smooth transition from legacy 10Mbps to 100Mbps Ethernet networks. All ports support MDI/MDI-X to reduce the possibility of cabling problems.
Additional Routing & Switching Modules AvailableChannel Vision offers a variety of ways to connect the computers in your home or business to your LAN or WAN. In addition to the Data/Patch Module, the following options are available:
8-Port Switch w/Bracket: The 8-Port Switch is also available without the two 8x8 network hubs
