The surveillance system allows you to monitor all of the activity around your property and record it to an expandable 500GB hard disk drive (HDD) DVR for playback or evidence. This is enough memory to capture over 2 years of recording, and when your system is nearly full the DVR will send an email alert to notify you. The system is controlled with a point and click icon menu similar to that of a computer and even includes prompts to help navigate users through the system. The SVAT Smart Security system is designed to help make peace-of-mind as convenient as possible which is why it offers users ability to view their cameras at anytime from anywhere in the world. With an internet connection users can see their feed from a Mac, PC, iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and iPad as well as most other major tablets. In keeping with convenience, the SVAT system can even send you an email alert, with photo, when motion is detected by any one of the 4 cameras or if any of the cameras experiences video loss.

The 4 High Resolution Night Vision Cameras included with the Network DVR are weather-resistant bullet cameras with a viewing angle of 60°. Each camera has 600TV lines (TVL) of resolution and records at 720 x 480 pixels ensuring crisp and clear video is recorded. All 4 cameras include 36 IR ClearVu LEDs which will allow the camera to see objects up to 100 feet away at night without the subject detecting any visible light meaning they'll be seen without even realizing it. For added security each camera's cable runs through the cable mount and directly into the wall so that no part of the cable is exposed and able to be tampered with by a criminal.

The Network DVR features 8-Channels, or video inputs, for recording. while 4 high resolution cameras are included, and additional 4 cameras may be added to monitor 8 areas, or zones, of your property.
