Expand your entertainment distribution to additional rooms in your home! The LEAP Digital Video Player w/Remote acts as a bridge between the LEAP Digital Distribution Center and standard consumer electronics such as stereo systems, entertainment centers, and televisions. The LEAP Digital Video Player is connected to these components with standard audio/video cabling (sold separately). The Digital Video Player decodes the stored Digital Distribution Center content and delivers it locally to the connected components. The included remote control provides an easy-to-use means of navigating that works with on-screen menus on a TV, making searching, retrieving and viewing or listening to digital entertainment (videos, photos and music files) as easy as using a TV set and remote control combination. The remote runs on two AAA batteries, sold separately.

The Digital Distribution Center does the work of organizing, retrieving and enabling all the digital content stored in the home, including photos, video, MP3 music, and CDs. Making use of the home's structured cabling system, each Digital Video Player communicates with the centrally located Digital Distribution Center over an Ethernet cat. 5/5e connection.
Each local Digital Video Player connects to the Digital Distribution Center via cat. 5/5e cabling to decode centrally stored digital content and deliver a stream of audio, video or photos to a local audio/video component. Photos may be viewed by thumbnails or as a multimedia slideshow.
Multiple digital zone capability allows use of numerous Digital Players around the home to access digital audio, video or photo streams independently and simultaneously. Listen to music while your kids are watching videos in another room!
Multiple outlets allow connection to a wide variety of audio and video components including Optical S/PDIF, Coaxial S/PDIF and stereo connections for audio output as well as DVI, S-Video, NTSC Composite Video and Component Video for video output
