The Beamer TV™s work from any standard analog phone line on any home phone, even cordless or speakerphone! No special wiring or services fees are required, and there is no additional cost for your phone calls.
Beamer TV™ sets up easily in four simple steps. Both people need to plug a phone into the Beamer TV unit, plug Beamer TV into their television's RCA video jack, connect Beamer TV to their wall phone jack, and plug in Beamer TV's power adapter. The quality of your video call depends on the quality of your phone line; you can also adjust the video sharpness by adjusting the balance between detail and movement. Send pictures back and forth during a video call. You can each save up to 12 pictures in your Beamer TV™ Albums, including snapshots and documents received during video calls and pictures from memory cards.
Your Beamer TV™ can also be used as a digital picture frame, to display photos while you're not on a video call. Pictures can be selected in a variety of ways. Friends can send them during calls, or you can save pictures or documents from multiple memory cards. Once saved, you can play a slideshow of pictures or display one picture continuously, so you'll always have your family and friends nearby.
Each Beamer TV™ comes with a simple four-button remote control to manage all of the unit's features. Adjust the self-focusing camera lens up or down to account for the height of your television and your location during your video calls.
The Beamer TV™ is also available individually. Vialta also makes the Beamer FX™ Videophone, which performs all of the functions of the Beamer TV™ on a 3.5-inch LCD screen. This videophone is available singly or in pairs.
