If you are looking for a way to hide away you're A/V components in a cabinet or another room yet still maintain control of them, the Channel Vision IR-5010 Plasma Proof IR Kit is the ideal solution. Equipped with the ability to control 4 remote A/V devices, the IR-5010 is expandable to control additional A/V devices with via single (83613) or dual emitters (83612) (sold separately).

The plasma resistant IR receiver provides protection from interference caused by most plasma TVs that can inhibit the IR signal from being repeated.

The plasma friendly receiver connects to the IR block via three conductor wire (sold separately). Using Cat5 (8493GRY) or other multi-conductor wire (three or more), simply connect the IR receiver to the IR block at any custom length you need up to 1000'.
