Find out who's at the door by answering your phone. When a visitor presses the doorbell on the Brass Telephone Entry System Intercom, it sends a distinctive ring to every telephone in your house. This intercom is made of 1/4" solid brass with a Satin Nickel Finish and the DP Series Design means it has larger overall size at approximately 6" x 4" in comparison to the IU Series which has a single-gang sized finish. It integrates a weather-resistant speaker/microphone with a doorbell button, which can trigger a Panasonic Telephone Entry System to signal you through your phone lines. This system adds safety and convenience to answering the door by allowing you to speak to visitors from any phone in the house before opening your door. Note: This door plate is compatible Panasonic models KX-TA308, KX-TA624, KX-TA824, KX-TA1232, KX-TAW848, KX-TD816, KX-TD1232, KX-TDA50, KX-TDA100, KX-TDA200, and KX-TDA500.

Channel Vision Door Unit Compatibility
There are thee different types of systems that IU door plates can be used with. The compatibility for these different types of systems is indicated by the suffix of the model number which follows the 4-digit numerical code.
If there is not a letter suffix on the model number, such as DP-0212, that door plate is compatible with Channel Vision's telephone entry products, including models P-0920, P-0921, C-0920, and TE110.
If the suffix is the letter "P," such as DP-0212P, then the door plate is compatible with Panasonic's phone systems which are designed to use the Panasonic door phone model KXT-30865.
If the suffix is the letter "C," such as DP-0212C, then the door plate is compatible with Channel Vision's Whole House CAT5 Intercom Hub, model P-0920.
Please double check to be sure that you have purchased the correct model number for your application.
