Use your existing infrared remote to control components in another room. The IR Coax Adapter injects the signals from a standard IR remote onto your existing coaxial cable to deliver commands to A/V devices in another room. This unit requires an IR Coax Engine and a stick-type or remote head plasma-proof IR receiver to be installed in the room with the television as well as an IR emitter to deliver commands to your A/V components. All of these devices are sold separately or can be purchased as a starter kit.
